In the beginning.....

I am pretty new at this... Blogging and such. But i figure if my Tia Barbara is doing it.... Well, I better get with the program.
I am starting this as a way to keep people "in the loop" as we like to say. They will be my little musings, and observations, of the time I am here in Afghanistan.
There will be pictures, and such, when I can figure out how to do that kind of thing.
So here is to the blogisphere,(sp) and away we go.
